This Policy applies to all users of the App, including those who access it through any authorized platform or device.

1.2 Usage Information: We automatically collect certain information about your use of the App, including:
(a) Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, including the device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
(b) Log Data: Our servers automatically record certain log files, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and access times.
(c) Analytics Data: We may use third-party analytics tools to gather information about your usage patterns, such as the frequency and duration of your visits, the features you use, and the interactions you have within the App.

As the owner (aka ‘Data Subject’) of your personal data, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) to find out about our use of your personal data.

- The Right to be informed - by providing you with this document, we are giving you the information about your data that is collected and held by us,
- The Right of access - you can ask about your personal data that we hold - this is called a “data subject access request”,
- The Right to rectification - you can tell us if the data we hold is wrong or incomplete and ask us to put it right,
- The Right to erasure - you can request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask* us to delete or stop processing your data. (*There may be times when we can’t do this though because we are required by law to hold it for a certain time),
- The Right to restrict processing - you can object to the processing of your data where the Company is relying on its legitimate interests as the legal ground for processing,
- The Right to data portability - you can ask us to securely transfer your personal data to another data controller,
- The Right to object - you can ask us to stop the processing of your personal data for a period of time if data is inaccurate or there is a dispute about its accuracy or the reason for processing it.
If you wish to do any of these things, log in to your Hurdl account and message a member of the Hurdl team and they will help you. By contacting us through your account, rather than by direct email, you are protecting your anonymity.
If you think that we have failed to handle your data properly or have not allowed your rights listed above, you have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
6.Your right to withdraw your consent
You have the right to withdraw consent if you have shared any personal data with us. You can withdraw your consent to share information at any time. You can request to withdraw your consent by sending a message to the Kooth team when you are logged in.
You have the right to correct any inaccurate data or remove data if it is not necessary for us to hold it. Two months is the standard waiting period for your request to be processed.
You should be aware that Hurdl’s Privacy Policy no longer applies when following links to any third-party websites. Kooth has no control over third-party websites, users should consult their privacy policy.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
8. Not a Registered Mental Health Business
Please note that Hurdle App Limited is not a registered mental health business or a substitute for professional mental health services. While the App provides a platform for online communication about mental health, it is important to understand that it does not provide medical or therapeutic advice. If you require further help, we encourage you to seek assistance from relevant authorities, such as licensed healthcare professionals, mental health practitioners, or helpline services in your jurisdiction.
